Biking

Mountain biking in Morzine and the Portes du Soleil is amongst the best in Europe and the spiritual home of the French downhill mountain bike scene. This vast resort has a wide variety of terrain & trails for all abilities, serviced by the Potes du Soleil lift operators. 


A world famous destination for road cycling in the French Alps, the unique geography provides steep climbs, long descents and breathtaking scenery--no wonder Morzine often features as a stage in the Tour de France & L'Etape du Tour and hosts the annual Vallee d'Aulps Cyclosportive.

Snowsports

Within the expansive Portes  du Soleil resort, Morzine is the perfect venue to enjoy the Alpine snow.  Offering over 650km of piste spanning two countries, you are at the heart of one of the world’s most extensive snow sport areas.


A favourite for freestyle skiers and snowboarders, there are around 30 snow parks across the whole of the resort area with a permanent halfpipe, Europe's first Burton Stash and parks in Avoriaz, Les Gets, Crosets, Nyon and Chatel...and it is a great playground for little shredders too! 


There are numerous ski and snowboard schools to choose from and shops providing equipment rental and the latest gear.


You will have lifts within walking distance and easy access to free shuttle buses connecting you to other resorts plus plenty of secure storage for all your gear.

Alpine Adventures

Morzine offers endless opportunities on your doorstep for all age groups & abilities; check out Lake Montriond and have a picnic lakeside or even go kayaking in the summer. 


For the more adventurous, hike up to  Nantaux (2170m), the tallest mountain in Morzine, and take in the stunning views! Or crank up the adrenaline and try parapenting (paragliding), canyoning, caving, white water rafting, rock climbing or even ice diving.
